Food banks and pantries in Jefferson County Missouri.

Families that are facing hunger in Jefferson County Missouri can turn to a local pantry. There are over 10 locations in the community that can offer help in the form of a free hot meal and/or a box of groceries. While the pantries do help families that are facing an emergency, if the client needs long term support they can be referred to USDA programs such as WIC or SNAP food stamps.

The food pantries in Jefferson County do focus on providing groceries to thousands of low income families each year. There may be soups, canned meats or fruits, dairy, infant formula, and more. In addition, some of them offer clients other goods. But there will never be a guarantee as to what a family or individual may be given; it always depends on what is donated.
