Free dental clinics and community health centers in Iowa provide help to low income families, people with no insurance, the elderly, disabled and others. Find where and how to free or reduced priced dental care in Iowa near you below. Adults, children and other patients can get everything free cleaning, fluoride, to free emergency oral surgery such as root canals, wisdom teeth removal, extractions and more. There is also a phone number at the bottom of the page for more affordable or free dental programs in Iowa.

Low income patients and also people with no or limited health insurance or dental coverage may be able to get access to a variety of services. Free or low cost dental care is also offered for individuals on Medicaid or the elderly on Medicare. No one is turned away from getting help as many of the free, income based clinics are part of the Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or Rural Health Clinics (RHCs) government programs. At the very least the locations can provide referrals or information on other local resources, including healthcare for the uninsured.

While some individuals may need to pay a fee or contribute towards their bills based on their family size or household income (so called sliding fee) many other patients in Iowa will not have to pay anything towards the dental care.
