Free holiday assistance programs in Genesee County Michigan.

Find charities and churches in Genesee County MI that provide free assistance during Christmas as well as other holidays, including Thanksgiving and Easter. Kids will get help from free Toys for Tots, Angel Tree and Adopt a Family programs in Flint and the county. Or get free food boxes and meals for families, Turkey dinners at Thanksgiving, and seniors or the homebound can get holiday meals delivered. Low income families as well as single mom run homes can find everything from toys to clothes, winter boats and jackets, Christmas trees, Legos, computers and other items may be given out. The primary programs to apply at for help are below, including Angel Tree as well as Toys for Tots. Catholic Charities of Genesee County
A number of assistance programs are run. Get free groceries or hot meals from a food pantry. There are also Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas ingredients or groceries. The winter coat and toy programs passes out stuff to low income families. There may be winter coats, boats, Christmas toys, and more. Kids and seniors, single moms and the low income are among others who are assisted.

Toys For Tots - Genesee County
Children from low income families under the age of 15 can apply for help from Marine Corps program. It is be a new, unwrapped Christmas gift or maybe certificate given to them. Volunteers of America of Flint and Michigan

They operate an Adopt a Family program statewide. Corporations, non-profits, and the community help low income families, single moms, and others in need enjoy the holiday. Old Newsboys Of Flint

The free Christmas box program helps residents. Socks, sweat suit, coats and underclothes, books, winter hat, dental hygiene products, hats, and other gifts are given. The assistance is for both age appropriate children as well as senior citizens.
