Free Christmas and holiday assistance Erie County New York.

Low-income families will get free Christmas meals, gifts and toys in he Buffalo and the greater Erie County region. There are charities and churches that offer free holiday assistance. There are programs free Christmas gifts to kids, meals or holiday food baskets. Find details on Toys for Tots as well as Adopt a Family or Angel Tree for free Christmas help in Erie County NY.

There is help for people with no money, seniors, single moms and the working poor. Many of the non-profits, including churches, also collect toys or presents and then provide the items for free to children from low income families. Applications will be required to Toys for Tots, a charity run holiday program or Angel Tree. The number of Erie County NY families that can be assisted is limited. Salvation Army Christmas Program
They are part of the Western New York holiday partnership of non-profits. Free food, meals, gift certificates, winter coats and toys are available for children under the age of 12. Families applying need to be low income, living close to or in poverty or even on food stamps.

This can help the elderly, but other holiday programs for other ages include Adopt a Family, Angel Tree and more. Toys, vouchers, and more are provided by the non-profit, including both Thanksgiving and Christmas Day Dinners.
