The HOPE Clinic is an Ellis County medical facility that provides health care to everyone, whether they have insurance or not, and whether they can afford to pay or not. The goal of the clinic is to offer health care for all individuals and families. They address chronic and acute medical care, provide free or discounted prescription medications; dental care, access to laboratory, radiography and specialist referrals, health education and preventative health information, prenatal care, and also mental health care.

It is very important to note that all patients are welcome to use HOPE clinic services. The Salvation Army of Waxahachie offers emergency assistance, disaster relief, summer programs, Christmas assistance, meals, and more programs to the low income and others who need help. The agency offers a limited amount of funds and emergency financial assistance to qualified individuals to help them pay rent, for utility bills, mortgage payments, and prescriptions. You need to be found qualified to receive help. In addition, the Salvation Army of Ellis County also maintain an emergency food pantry on site that provides short-term assistance to those in financial crisis or who need help providing food for their families.
