The funds are targeted to those people who are experiencing financial hardship or other emergencies. Also, a pantry and soup kitchen provides meals 5 days week to needy in the community.

South Davidson Family Resource Center - This charity provides emergency financial assistance and support to those families and individuals who are experiencing financial hardship. Homeless and housing assistance programs
PBH, formerly known as Piedmont Behavioral Healthcare, has received hundreds of thousands of dollars in federal government grants to help the homeless and those facing eviction. The government funds will allow PBH to assist a couple dozen additional individuals and/or families with housing resources and services through its Shelter Plus Care Program.
