Find where single parents, children, senior citizens, and low income families in Clark County Washington can get free Christmas toys or holiday food boxes. There are assistance programs from charities or churches that offer free Christmas gifts to kids or turkey dinners (including at Thanksgiving), food boxes for families, meals on wheels in Vancouver WA and more.

Find programs such as Toys for Tots or Adopt a Family for free Christmas presents. Or locate services for both Thanksgiving and Christmas meals. The holiday programs are available from several places as noted below. Each year the list of agencies that participate can change.

There tend to be churches in Vancouver as well as agencies such as the Salvation Army. They can provide free Christmas presents from Angel Tree or Adopt a Family services. Other organizations that may assist range from local government municipalities (the fire and police departments) to Family Resource Centers. Call on an agency below for help.     This location administers the Christmas assistance programs. There may be gifts, food baskets and gifts, toys for kids, and home delivery services for the homebound. During November timeframe this location may also provide food, groceries, and sides for Thanksgiving.

Salvation Army Christmas Programs

All assistance is given out first come and served. The presents, clothing, and free Christmas gifts are for parents with kids under the age of 13. A an Adopt a Family holiday program is also available, along with a food pantry, financial aid, and emergency services.

the program is run out of the Portland OR region, but is covers Clark County as well. Children, teens and infant can get free Christmas toys or clothes. There may be items like video or board games, books, Legos, hot wheels cars, Barbie dolls, bicycles and more. It relies on donations and funds from the community. There are free Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas programs. The poor, unemployed and homeless can get free Christmas gifts or meals, as well as Toys for Tots applications. Or get groceries to make a meal, stocking stuffers for kids and other goods.

Additional Christmas programs in Clark County
Santa’s Posse is available, and has been operating since 1997. The Rotary Club, KinderCare Learning Centers as well as Clark County Washington Sheriff’s Office operate this. They collect food, toys, personal goods, clothing, stocking stuffers, and more. They then pass out those goods to less fortunate families in the community, and over 1000 kids are typically assisted each year.

Two other resources that provide free items at Christmas include the People In Need Program as well as Toys for Tots. They combine guidance from the US Marine Corps with new, unwrapped donations of clothing, toys, and more from the community. Both can help working poor families and other struggling households.
