Clarion Area Agency On Aging, Inc. focuses on residents who are 55 years of age or older. Receive meals, including congregate and home delivered meals. Seniors can apply for the provision of medical equipment/loan closet. Rides and transportation can be provided to medical appointments or grocery shopping. Apply for low income or private housing. Rent and security deposit supplements are offered from Section 8 vouchers. Elderly housing is offered at Edenburg Court- Knox, Cherry Run Estates- Rimersburg and family housing includes Medardo Estates- Rimersburg, Penn Court- Clarion, Hillside Apartments- Clarion.

Neighbor Aid Program is a regional service that offers financial support for paying utilities, food, vouchers, medical needs, rent, etc. Assistance is only offered for those working individuals and low income who have encountered a serious medical problem or condition that is brought on by an accident, disabling disease or other extreme cause.
