Charlotte County food pantries.

Food pantries as well as human service agencies in Charlotte County provide support to struggling families. There are resources available to prevent hunger for children, senior citizens, and low income residents. What a client can expect to find at a pantry ranges from bread to baby food, perishable goods, and even holiday meals.

Some of the pantries are below. If there is not a location near where a family lives in Charlotte County, then most sites offer referrals. In addition, the homebound, whether someone is ill, elderly, or disabled, can inquire into a low cost or even free Meals on Wheels service.

The food pantries will also try to offer seasonal support. This means that during the fall or winter that Thanksgiving or Christmas meals may be served. Or students can receive a snack or meal during the summer months when they do not have free school lunches. Call a food bank, or stop by, to apply or learn more.
