Free emergency food pantries and groceries Cameron County.

Find information on many of the food pantries in Cameron County as well as details on government hunger prevention programs, such as WIC or SNAP food stamps. Clients can be low income families, senior citizens, or really anyone that is facing some type of hardship. Each one of the staff members at these free food banks, pantries or soup kitchens near you will do their best to help residents in need and not turn them away. Whether it is a box of groceries or applications to state of Texas food stamps, these pantries are often the place to turn to. There are centers across Brownsville, Harlingen, and other cities in Cameron County. Most are open limited hours, but based on donation levels, some of the supplies and programs may include Christmas and Thanksgiving meals, boxes of food, clothing, Christmas meals, and even financial support.

Rather than face hunger, call upon one of the food pantries below. While they can help in an emergency, it is often best to contact them for help before a crisis occurs.

The faith based charity is a Society of Saint Vincent churches. Free personal hygiene items, toiletries, food from a pantry and more.
