Food banks and pantries in Bradley County.

Many of the food pantries in Bradley County Tennessee provide monthly services to the needy. They often pass out a free box of groceries, and the size of it may be increased based on the total number of household members. Many of the charitable run food banks also operate soup kitchens, and these sites will serve hot meals to the homeless, provide Christmas or Thanksgiving meal services, and other support. More information on the locations and how to apply is below.

When stopping by a pantry, generally the staff will need proof of residency in Bradly County. Therefore it is recommended that individuals bring valid photo ID and/or social security card. While some programs may have income restrictions in place, generally a food pantry run by a non-profit tries to feed anyone in need.

Also, residents can inquire as to long term programs. As examples of the services provided, there may be applications to SNAP food stamps, personal products or free school lunches for kids. Many other food assistance programs may be offered too.
