Berrien County food banks and pantries.

Food assistance programs are administered by several charities as well as churches in Berrien County. Low income families, or those in an emergency, can stop in at a food pantry for help. Volunteers will try to provide assistance to anyone that needs it. Learn about everything from where to get a free box of groceries or toy for a child to applications for SNAP food stamps or WIC Vouchers.

Some of the food pantries below also provide financial aid as a last resort, but this is rare. What is more common to find in Berrien County is a place to get some fresh or canned groceries. For those that need a meal during Thanksgiving or Christmas, the food pantries also try to offer that service as well.

Note the hours that each charity is open is limited, as is their service territory. But some of the non-profits may offer a Meals on Wheels service for senior citizens and the disabled.
