Arlington County Virginia free clothing, furniture banks and school supplies.

Low income families, job seekers, or even students in Arlington County can get free clothes as well as furniture or back to school supplies. There are several free furniture banks as well as clothing closets that help low to moderate income families with what they need for their home, work, school, or even to keep warm during the winter.

Charitable run clothing and furniture banks help the needy in Arlington and northern Virginia. There are other items offered too, ranging from back to school supplies to furniture for a new home or apartment, free work or school uniforms, household items including appliances and much more. Some of the charities, such as the Salvation Army, also offer free Christmas or birthday toys, food, and more. Find a list of  organizations below to get help from.

Free clothes or household furniture can be provided by churches, charities, and regional non-profit organizations including Annandale Christian Community for Action. When it comes to more household items, such as furniture, cribs, kitchen supplies, beds or the like, the best option may be a low cost thrift store in Arlington County or the Christian Community Action furniture bank.

Note some may give free items or a voucher to very low income families or those residents in a crisis. Anyone in need of clothes, backpacks or free school supplies or gifts for kids, or really any other items can try one of the clothing closets or charity programs below.
