Hello,
I am writing to see what kind of assistance you are available to offer to my mother, who is on Medicare. She is a resident of Bamberg County and does not have any income. She was declared disabled several years ago and was placed on social security disability. She went back to work to try to see if she were able and had a stroke shortly thereafter.
She currently has Medicare Part A, and a pending reinstatement for disability. She also cares for an aunt who is now on disability and I would like to know if there is anything that will allow her compensation for that as well.
The following assistance that she is in need of is Medical, Rent, Electric and Prescription Assistance Programs.
Any guidance or directives that you may provide will be greatly appreciated.

Hello,
I am contacting you on behalf of my disabled mother.
She lives at the Brookdale Sakonnet Bay facility in Tiverton, RI.
She was hospitalized last summer at the South Coast Hospital in Fall River, MA.
After Medicare Part A payments etc., she owes $690.00 out of pocket. She is on a fixed income and can’t afford to pay it.
Are there any programs that can assist her with this bill?
Thank you,

We have an entire page and section of site dedicated to this topic. You can find it on the main site, and read up on Medicare benefits, including how to apply, how to receive them, how part A works, sending in claims, etc. So it covers everything there is to know about the program. Whether you are a senior or disabled, we have it covered.
