Relocated for a job

Post by Td9aw »

Hello. I relocated here to Vidalia in December from Idaho State to start a new and hopefully better life for me and my two children. I am a certified teacher and was offered a job when I arrived that was rescinded due to obligations of the district to rehire someone who had previously been laid off. I have been searching and applying for jobs both within my profession and outside of my degree. I am not too proud to work fast food or retail, however my experience is minimal in those fields.
I look for work daily and have applied for more than 50 jobs within a 60 mile radius from the place I relocated too. I have exhausted all of my resources and have been denied unemployment from my state. I am in a position to lose my house (which I rent) and am behind on everything. I have contacted the Salvation Army and other community based organizations to be told there is no funding. I am writing to you today to see if you know of anyone that could help me get a job. Any information is greatly appreciated.
Thank you, Happy Thanksgiving and God bless you.

If you are a teacher, maybe a writing job will appeal to you. As there are any number of online writing opportunities. They can be for blogs, technical manuals for companies, offshore work, and any number of employers. While the pay is not incredible, it can be done from home and the income may cover your critical expenses...such as the rent you referred too. So hopefully that information helped, and here are more details. http://www.needhelppayingbills.com/html ... icles.html

I am looking for a new job and am willing to relocate. I have a huge skill set and a lot of energy, drive and loyalty with proven track record of building outreach, community networking, and building both consumers and volunteers interns up. High integrity and ethics. Amazing supervisory and training skills with both people and computers. Lots of education in English, with mathematics, computers, and the sciences. My skills with people, computers, administrative, and accounting are big. I have record breaking reports for goals I have completed for grants and other projects for the year within work completed individually and working with a team. The Traumatic Brain Injury Program service goals have been completed in less than 4 months. Numbers of hours for volunteers and interns I recruited were in the hundreds of hours and record breaking for the organization I worked for. No and low vision resources to seniors in the rural communities of northern California topped at 561 seniors coordinating outreach and consumer building with the team of specialists. Plus, I organized the office and made sure it ran smoothly. Provided excellent services with much thankfulness and no complaints for more than a decade and beyond. Very much a focused multitasker with a lotta skills, and several certifications from completed trainings. A holiday project I facilitated brought joy, and changed lives to 175 seniors and people with disabilities last year. Plus, I am a board member of a local non-profit and on both the audit and financial committees.
I am featured on the Forum discussing the services of another local non-profit with a co-worker that was first aired on the local public television in December 2016. I hear it continues to re-air every so often this past year. Also, website and social media skills. My Facebook posts in October alone reached 2653 people about traumatic brain injury awareness, and other posts regarding disabilities and events and programs reached a great many more. Finally, all my skills are transferable and everywhere I have worked since I was fourteen years old I have cross trained and built my skills and abilities to work with people and places. One of the greatest things is helping people to be independent, live higher quality lives, and making a difference every day. Even to the point of taking the impossible doable and possible. The other venture I am working on is a Shasta Non-Profit Community Table and looking to see what non-profits, similar community services, and sponsoring companies would be interested in participating in a community scavenger hunt that is in the planning stages.
Thanks a lot folks for reading thus far. Happy Day!

I'm looking for help with my car. I relocated for a job recently. The solenoid starter had gone out and I cannot get it towed anywhere because I don't have any money and I need it fixed and I can't pay for it because I'm on I'm on Social security. As far as I can see I'm looking at least 400 to $500 for it to get fixed. Thank you very much. My name is Kimberly. If somebody could give me a call I would really appreciate it thank you
