Hi, to make a long story short, I am a younger, stay-at-home mother that became a widow when my husband (father to our 2 children) died of suicide 4 years ago. Since then, I have fought for, worked for, & prayed for my family's healing, after the traumatic suicide suddenly occurred, preceded by about 3 years of horrific mental, emotional, & financial abuse by the man I loved who had fell victim to depression and partly the failure of the medical providers and partly the incapacitating disease of depression, and partly the failure of our city's police department.
To get to the point, I have not been able to go back to work full time for insurance benefits yet and I have paid cash in thousands of dollars for dental discount programs, a couple tooth extractions due to severe pain, several attempts at consultations with local college dental clinics, private dentists, and community health care dental, only to eventually (if not at first) be denied care due to inability to pay, the complexity and amount of decay, root canals, and/or restoration that would be involved.
I have excellent oral hygiene with no tarter but I have inherited my grandmother's weak teeth. Most my teeth have been filled and refilled at least 2 times and every time I go to dentist I have more failed dental work and deep decay in places I cannot brush or floss. I am in debt about $6500.00 still and that doesn’t include the thousands I paid in cash over the last 8 years. I CANT KEEP UP WITH THE COST OF THE TREATMENT I still need and am in pain right now from a tooth UNDER a bridge I HAVENT EVEN PAID FOR YET, that needs root canal, bone surgery, and a new bridge. THAT'S what the 2 dentists I saw said. What do I do and how can I get help for this awful situation?!!

Hi. As of last year I came down with a very bad infection in my mouth, and had to get all of my teeth pulled and replaced by a bridge. I have no way of paying to have teeth made and am having a very hard time eating. I constantly feel sick, and I lost close to 40lbs. I make minimum wage and have nothing left at end of week to even buy food. Is there any type of assistance I could get to help me get teeth made to I can eat and get healthy again... thank you very much in advance.
