Emergency Help with Electric Bill

I need assistance with getting electric put into my name.
My husband left me and my 2 year old son November 28, 2016 and I am trying to get emergency electric help from LES but in my name but really not sure if they will since a huge amount is due, but it is in my husband name and I might need some money down to get it put in my name.

If you need emergency help either paying the bills, or transferring the service into your name, it really depends on your state and the electric company. As each state has different programs as do utility companies, but also try the crisis LIHEAP program (or your state's version). Either way find a list of places where to get emergency electric help.
