It can pay for security deposits, school supplies, propane, medications, and a portion of a monthly rent payment. The charity only serves the greater Enumclaw area. There are also referrals, information on shelters, and assistance to the currently homeless to help them find a private home to rent or transitional housing program. Making a Difference in Community, or MDC, administers Housing Services in Tacoma Washington. This is mainly Low-income Heating and Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) for the low income, seniors, or disabled.
